We provide accessible, easy-to-understand information that promotes inclusion and empowers people with a learning disability.
We are part of Learning Disability Wales. Every project we complete helps support our main goal – to be the best country in the world for people with a learning disability to live, learn, love and work.
We started providing an Easy Read service over 20 years ago, when organisations began asking us for help to create accessible materials.
At the time, our small information team handled the Easy Read work. As demand grew, we saw how essential this service was. We took a big step and hired our first dedicated Easy Read Officer — and from there, our service kept growing.
Today, our Easy Read team has 4 dedicated members of staff, with admin support from Julie, who keeps all of us at Learning Disability Wales working efficiently!

We’re a small, friendly team who care deeply about what we do. We take the time to get to know each project, and we’re always happy to answer any questions you have. We’ll work with you to create something that really works for the people who need it most.

More organisations started asking us for Easy Read. We hired an Easy Read officer, and our service grew from there.
We now have 4 members of staff on our Easy Read team. We get admin support from Julie, who supports everyone at Learning Disability Wales.
We are proud of the work we do. We want to help people with a learning disability get better information they can understand.
